Small courtyard gardens might feel limited but can often be turned into beautiful and useful areas with the clever use of space and the selection of the right products.

This lovely courtyard garden in Dawlish, South Devon was a real suntrap and the owners wanted to make the most of it by having several seating areas, a raised bed as well as incorporating height to increase the sense of space.

They selected lovely honey gold coloured paving by Marshalls and asked us to bring in rustic elements by using reclaimed wood stumps and sleepers. The result is a smart, comfortable multi-functional garden which is adaptable and future-proof.
