Burgh Island Decking

We are absolutely thrilled with this fantastic project at 'Agatha's Beach House' on the beautiful Burgh Island in the South Hams of Devon. Logistics wise this was particularly tricky because all supplies etc needed to be delivered according to the tides, vehicular access to the hotel is only possible at low tide. 

Our team of landscapers stayed onsite, when the tides were unfavourable, so they could maximise their working days. All the existing wooden decking from the main entrance, balcony & hot tub decking was removed & replaced with composite decking to prolong the life of the decking. The timber frame was assessed and strengthened with additional or replacement timbers added to ensure a solid frame. 

Once the decking was completed the teams then installed chrome posts and toughened 10mm clear glass to create a very modern and eye catching finish, maximising the stunning view.
